There were 5 rings arranged to symbolise the Olympic rings, these were made out of gold, silver and bronze bullion wire to portray the colours of the winning Olympic medals. The flowers and foliage’s used again were in shades of the medal using gold Phalaenopsis and Primrose flowers, Silver Tillandsia and Brunia and Bronze Cymbidium and Cordyline. The design was on a simple golden wood stand to make it suitable for a table arrangement design without detracting from the intricate ring design but adding suitable stability and height.

The inspiration for this design came from the classical chandelier design and the colour scheme from the royal purple and silver and white tones to symbolise the Diamond part of the brief. The framework was constructed from Large lampshade rings, with wire mesh, Tillandsia moss and Silver bullion wire. The fresh material included Phalaenopsis orchids, Ornithogalum arabicum, Ceropegia woodii, Anthuriums and Pitcher Plant flowers. The finished design is embellished with strings of silver Brunia to symbolise pearl strands and miniature mirrors to catch the light along with some stunning clear and purple crystal drops and diamante strands.
